Lower body workout: get back to basics to strengthen your quadriceps
Here you will find a focus session on the quadriceps.
We are going to combine body weight and dumbbells to work the quadriceps muscles! Your hamstrings and your glutes will also be used during this session, but this is not the main objective.
For tight squats I put a weight under the heels to keep the body as straight as possible during the descent.
Do the same to perfect your movement.

During the Bulgarian lunges, try to keep your chest leaned in order to focus on your quads!
You will be timed for 40 seconds of work then 20 seconds of rest for the exercises that you will do on both sides and for those unilateral it will be 50 seconds of work for 10 seconds of recovery.
And to finish with the finisher it will be 1' consecutive!
For you to know the 2 pairs of dumbbells I use are:
20kg for squat movements
14kg for lunges movements
1 stand
Each exercise is to be repeated twice.
